The purpose of the Artificial Intelligence in Pathology (AIPATH) IWG is to enable applications of AI in Pathology at every step of journey of tissue - from laboratory workflow viz. sample acquisition, processing to offering diagnosis, determining prognosis, predictive analytics and analysing, integrating enormous & complex datasets across various diagnostic divisions of pathology.
Objective & Scope
Adoption of digital pathology (DP) and AI applications in Oncopathology for improved patient outcomes in cancer care, education, training of the workforce and translational research
We aim to:
To seamlessly integrate state-of-the-art DP technologies into cancer care
To foster collaboration, innovation, and responsible implementation of digital solutions in Oncopathology
To create and facilitate awareness, impart education about adoption of DP and AI applications in Oncopathology
